Shield Air coat
The Shield Air coat is made from a very specific GORE-TEX® ShakeDry® material that gives it its unique properties. In the construction of this material, the membrane is laminated with only a thin lining, the usual outer covering material is completely absent. This makes the Shield Air extremely lightweight, packable and vapour permeable while remaining completely waterproof, while requiring no impregnation. Like all membrane materials, it is also completely windproof. Thanks to these parameters, the coat is not suitable for use with backpacks or bags. Of course, there is an adjustable hood, a two-way bone waterproof YKK central zipper backed by a flap, two pockets with waterproof YKK spiral zippers, adjustable sleeve ends and seams taped with 13mm Micro Tape.
